Arts 4 All - Term 1
Empower Aotearoa services Dance and Arts Therapy New Zealand's "Arts 4 All" programme in Ōtautahi/Christchurch.
Arts 4 All is a creative arts therapy programme for people who identify as being neurodivergent, and/or having learning or physical disabilities aged 18+.
Sessions promote well-being goals such as connection (with others and themselves), exploring identity, boundaries, free expression, sensory needs, feeling seen and heard, and recreation and fun! This list is not exhaustive and is dynamically tailored to the needs of the participants. Accessibility and sensory needs are always catered to, to ensure inclusion.
Each session explores different themes and art materials as well as some music and gentle movement to support embodiment and freedom of expression.
This is a drop-in group. No booking or commitment to a full term is required. To help remove financial barriers that may hinder access, Dance and Arts Therapy New Zealand welcomes a koha gold coin donation to support the work of their charity.
We look forward to seeing you at 10:30 am - 11:30 am on Fridays during the school term at The Village, 460 Papanui Road, Papanui, Christchurch.
